Leakproof Underwear Care: How to Activate & Maintain Your Gear
The Care

From First Activation to Long-Term Protection
Step 0: The "Activation" Wash
Did you know your Everleakproof underwear needs to be "activated" before the first wear?
New textiles often contain microscopic factory finishes or natural oils that can temporarily repel liquid. To unlock 100% of the absorbent capacity, we recommend a quick, gentle wash in cool water before your first use. This "primes" the fibers, opening up the absorbent channels so they can pull moisture away from your skin instantly.
An Investment in Your Confidence
Everleakproof underwear is a high-performance engineering system. Our 4-layer technology is designed to keep you dry and odor-free for years. However, improper maintenance can "clog" the fibers or damage the protective PU membrane.
Below is our professional protocol to ensure your protection stays effective through every wash cycle.
Why Softeners are the Enemy
Fabric softeners work by coating textiles with a thin layer of wax or silicone to make them feel plush. This film acts as a barrier, causing liquid to bead up and roll off the surface instead of being absorbed into the core.
To keep your underwear's performance at its peak, stick to simple liquid detergents. This keeps the fibers open and breathable, allowing them to trap and neutralize odor molecules effectively without synthetic interference.
The 3-Step Routine
Rinse your pairs in cold water immediately after use. This prevents stains from setting and begins the odor-neutralization process by flushing the absorbent core. Rinse until the water runs clear.
Hand wash is preferred to maximize the lifespan of the PU waterproof layer. If you choose to machine wash, always use a delicate cycle at 30Β°C (86Β°F) and place your garments inside a mesh laundry bag to protect the technical fabrics from abrasion. Never use bleach.
Hang to dry out of direct sunlight or heat. High-temperature dryers can cause delamination (peeling) of the protective layer. The PU membrane is a smart materialβit needs room-temperature air to stay intact and flexible.
